Mathovia started as a personal set of shop tools and grew into a free public reference.
Most measurement calculators online are buried in ads, ask you to sign up, or spit out a decimal you then have to convert back into something you can mark on a board. We wanted the opposite: open the page, type the numbers, get an answer you can use with the tape measure already in your hand.
Every tool here runs entirely in your browser, so results are instant and work offline once the page has loaded. Nothing you type is sent anywhere or stored. The calculators round to the fractions that actually appear on standard tapes — 1/16" and 1/32" — because that is what matters when you are cutting real material.
We build for accuracy first, but always double-check critical or load-bearing measurements against your plans and local building codes. These tools are a fast reference, not a substitute for professional judgment.
